SOS (self-opening satchel) bags pop open with a flick and stand upright on their own — the fastest bag at any busy counter. That's why block-bottom paper bags are the everyday workhorse for takeaways, delis, bakeries, greengrocers and market stalls across Ireland.

Ours are made in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary from heavy 60–90 gsm kraft paper — noticeably stronger than typical imported grades — in brown or white, with widths from 5" to 12" to swallow anything from a pastry to a full family takeaway order. A ready-printed "Take Away" design is available off the shelf, or we can print your own branding in-house with water-based inks.

Every bag is FSC® and PEFC certified, 100% PFAS-free and safe for direct food contact, and fully recyclable or compostable. Sold by the pack with next-day dispatch nationwide, with automatic discounts on 5+ and 10+ packs.
